Lead Teacher

Teacher Fabienne started out as a parent at KCP in 1996 and then returned as Assistant Teacher in 2005. She served in this role for 16 years before becoming one of our Co-Teachers in 2022 and becoming our Lead Teacher in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabienne has four daughters of her own, all of whom are KCP alumni, and one granddaughter who graduated from KCP! Having spent over twenty years in KCP classes and completing coursework in early childhood education, Fabienne is an incredible resource to our cooperative community. She brings her creativity to the classroom while cultivating a nurturing environment for children and parents to learn and grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KCP helped my children learn to be confident in their individual gifts and instilled in them a life-long thirst for learning. Assistant Teacher<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teacher Sydney has lived in Kingston since 1992 and was a Cooperative Preschool kid in Lake Forest Park before her family settled in Kingston for good. She became our Assistant Teacher at KCP in 2024!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sydney and her husband share two children who have also benefited from the cooperative model. With six years of experience in a cooperative preschool as a parent, she also has an educational background with a focus on art and pre-K instruction. She believes in and encourages an early childhood experience that includes the whole family and spills over into the community we share. Teacher Sydney also teaches yoga locally and facilitates events for women during her summer break from KCP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
